Brown Bear Comedy was originally born in Barnsley, built by a young man with a dream to bring the very best nights to what he proudly describes as the best place on Earth, filled with the funniest and best folk you could ever meet.

He truly believes laughter is the best medicine, and that everyone deserves to get out for a laugh every now and again. Life’s busy, life’s stressful, and sometimes a proper comedy night with good people is exactly what’s needed.

Fast forward to now, and he’s linked up with his older brother living on the other side of the world. Together, the Brown Bear brothers bring good vibes and great comedy every single time, not only across South Yorkshire, but all the way to South Australia too.

At Brown Bear Comedy, it’s about more than just stand up. It’s about bringing communities together. In Australia especially, we work closely with soccer clubs, sporting clubs, and local venues to help create packed out nights that support local businesses, clubrooms, and amateur sports clubs. We want people spending money locally, supporting each other, and creating an atmosphere where communities thrive together.

Alongside championing new and upcoming acts from across the UK and Australia, we also put on some huge shows featuring some of the very best comedians in the game.
